Blood Marrow Transfusion

Finding the right person to contact can often be difficult but it is important to know who or what you are looking for. If you are thinking of offering yourself as a donor or have a friend who is in need of a transplant there are many ways to get in touch with the right people who can help give you advice and provide reassurance.

If you are the intended recipient or have already received a transplant then again there are many support groups, forums and informational websites available for you to look at and find the information or support you require. Simply using a search engine can provide an untold source of information and support which can help you enormously during this difficult period.

There are many charities and research groups out there who are looking for help so if you feel that your life has been improved by a transplant or have seen the joy it has brought to a loved one then we encourage you to get in contact and see if you can help. Very rarely will one of these organisations not have an area in which you can help.

It is easy to forget the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes and the amount of money that is required to help further the blood and marrow transplant cause so if you do have spare time or would like to make a donation to one of these not for profit organisations then please do get in touch and your help may make the difference.
